Irradiation Machine
Explore the scale of our modern irradiation machine system and learn in detail about the operating capacity of the equipment at our factory.
General Introduction
Having invested in and commissioned an advanced irradiation machine system since 2024, Ngoc Khanh Group has marked a breakthrough in cable manufacturing technology. Applying electron beam (E-Beam) energy allows us to produce ultra-durable specialty cables that meet the strictest limits of industrial environments.

Structural Transformation & Cross-Linking Process
Under the powerful effect of the electron beam, the initial linear molecular structure of the polymer sheath is recombined to form a solid three-dimensional ‘cross-linked’ network. This transformation changes the material from a ‘thermoplastic’ state to a ‘thermoset’ state, preventing the cable sheath from deforming or melting even under continuous operation at 125°C. At the same time, cross-linking maximizes tensile strength, mechanical abrasion resistance, and optimizes flame-spread resistance.
Electron Beam (E-Beam) Accelerator and Emission System
The system uses a modern accelerator to generate an electron beam (E-Beam) carrying extremely high energy. During operation, this beam is focused and fired directly through the polymer sheath of the cable with absolute precision. The advantage of this technology is that processing takes place entirely through a physical method at room temperature, without the need for any catalytic chemicals or thermal vulcanizing agents, thereby fully preserving the quality of the conductive copper core.

Elevating Safety for Key Projects
The change in material structure delivers maximum lifespan and mechanical durability for the cable sheath. As a result, E-Beam irradiation technology is becoming the core standard for producing specialty cables serving the automotive industry, medical electronics, aviation, and smart grid systems.
